Bonded Seals

Self-centring bonded seals, also called Dowty seals or Dowty washers, stocked and supplied in Chennai by Raj Trading Corporation. A bonded seal is a steel washer with a rubber ring bonded to its bore: it goes under the head of a banjo bolt, plug or threaded fitting and seals the port where a plain copper or fibre washer would weep, and the rubber lip centres it on the thread as it is tightened. These are NBR 90 on steel, in blue. Fourteen sizes for BSP fittings from 1/8" to 2-1/2", fifteen metric sizes from M5 to M30, and two assorted kit boxes for the workshop, one metric with 123 seals in 12 sizes and one inch with 105 in 6. The size list below gives each seal with its dimensions and minimum order. Send the thread size, for example 1/4" BSP or M14, for a quotation.
