Jaw Coupling Spiders
Polyurethane and nitrile spiders for jaw couplings, stocked and supplied in Chennai by Raj Trading Corporation from the Tecnolan and Tecnotex range. The spider is the flexible element between the two hubs of a jaw coupling: it carries the torque, takes up misalignment and damps shock, and it is the part that wears, so it is replaced on its own while the hubs stay on the shafts. Five types and 90 sizes. GR in red polyurethane, from 30 mm to 318 mm outside diameter, and MT in yellow, from 48 mm to 296 mm, for industrial jaw couplings. SBT in green and in yellow, from 40 mm to 220 mm. GS in red polyurethane, from 20 mm to 160 mm, for backlash free precision couplings on servo and CNC drives. And the H element in black nitrile rubber, H-95 to H-440. The size list below gives each spider with its outside diameter, inside diameter, thickness, petal count and minimum order. Quote the type and size as printed, such as GR-28, or send the outside diameter, thickness and petal count of the worn spider, for a quotation.
