Description
The 31SC cartridge seal is a self-contained unit of shaft sleeve, seal and gland plate. It fits onto the pump shaft as one built assembly, with nothing further to set.
Cartridge seals exist to get round the fitting problems of conventional seals. They are supplied in single and double form, and the gland plate can carry tappings for flushing, cooling water injection and emergency quench.
Generally used for highly corrosive chemicals and high temperature applications.
