Description
The 81U is a general purpose multi spring unbalanced seal, supplied with an O-ring or a PTFE wedge as the secondary seal.
The light spring load carried through the wedge or O-ring keeps shaft fretting down, and the narrow cross-section and compact build take up little stuffing box room.
Generally used for petrochemicals, light hydrocarbons and general industrial fluids.
